"Your business," emphasized Polwarth, "is to acquaint yourself with the man Jesus: he will be to you the one to reveal the Father. Take your New Testament as if you have never seen it before, and read to find out. The point is, there was a man who said he knew God, and that if you would give heed to him, you should know him too. The record left of him is indeed scanty, yet enough to disclose what kind if man he was -- his principles, his ways of looking at things, his thoughts of his Father and his brothers, and the relations between them, of man's business in life, his destiny, and his hopes."
